Google is listening – Buzz already being tweaked

by JWMcGregor on February 15, 2010

Google can sometimes be accused of being silent – especially when you need help :-) but not in the case of Google Buzz. only a couple of days after the launch of it’s newest product. It has responded to feedback and made changes to give a better user experience. I do not agree with most of the gripes i have heard about Buzz especially in regards to the privacy issues – just get over it people! . I am also sorry that the auto follow option has not been kept, I personally liked that feature.
What they do need is an easier way of getting to the Buzz personal settings area. Also, even though it is very intuitive, I think a little Google Buzz 101 would be useful or al least a cheat sheet of functions you can get to easily. – (101 article coming soon – here)

New Focus on this blog

by JWMcGregor on February 15, 2010

This blog may be called love 2 tweet but it has never been exclusively about twitter. Aways focussed on cloud communications and “tweeting” I am shifting my focus slightly to include general cloud computing stuff as well. I will also be “re-tweeting” stuff that I think is relevant or interesting from others.

It is anti web 2.0 to lock yourself into a box. I think we need to occasionally add a few more tags to spice things up.

Twitter of the Future

October 26, 2009

I had a dream last night that caused me to wake up at 4:30am and race out to write down some thoughts. The dream was about a marketplace where everyone was shouting out to the crowd and selling the same product. I saw flashes of the bull pit at the New York Stock [...]

Anti Google Wave – tall poppies?

September 6, 2009

“Google has an image problem – not a PR problem (that is, not with the public) but a press problem (with whining old media people). Google is trying hard – too hard, perhaps – not to argue with the guys who still buy ink by the barrel. Google is only causing them to buy fewer [...]
